  • The Calder Northern Group is part of the Calder Northern Division of the National Model Railroad Association British Region. The group’s clubroom is based in the end room downstairs in the North Junction Signal Box at the Crewe Heritage Centre, where regular meetings are held once a month throughout the year. The clubroom is normally open to visitors every weekend during the Heritage Centre’s main season from April to the end of September.

  • Work on Devil’s Creek

    A return loop for one end of the Devil’s Creek HO layout is currently being constructed. This will allow the layout to be run with fewer operators.

  • Calder Northern at Manchester TAS 2016

    Once again Calder Northern and the Crewe Heritage Centre each took a table at the Manchester TAS 2016 show. The attendance was down on the Saturday due to the weather. We did mange to sell over £80’s worth of the non-railway items on the Saturday from the Michael Coates stock.

    A group of members anxiously awaiting the start of the raffle. Unusually Bob did not pick the first ticket. A total of over £200 was raised for the club.
