  • Quiz – March 2018

    A quiz was organised during the March 2018 meeting by Len and Dave Ford. It seemed to be well received though one or two answers were questioned. Supplementary prizes were awarded for exceptional knowledge. The winners of the prizes were: Mike Lenz Roy Harris George Neyman and Les Herriot.

  • Calder Northern at Manchester TAS 2016

    Once again Calder Northern and the Crewe Heritage Centre each took a table at the Manchester TAS 2016 show. The attendance was down on the Saturday due to the weather. We did mange to sell over £80’s worth of the non-railway items on the Saturday from the Michael Coates stock.

    A group of members anxiously awaiting the start of the raffle. Unusually Bob did not pick the first ticket. A total of over £200 was raised for the club.
